Affordable connectivity program

Congress recently created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a new long-term benefit, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP) on December 31, 2021.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for internet service. 

If your household is eligible, you can receive:

  • Up to a $30/month discount on your internet service

Only one monthly service discount is allowed per household.

If you are having issues with your provider involving the Emergency Broadband Benefit or the Affordable Connectivity Program, you may want to file an informal consumer complaint with the FCC.
