2024 Youth Tour Application

The Youth to Washington Contest is open to all area high school sophomores and juniors (members and non-members). Up to 15 finalists will travel as a group to Youth Day in Springfield on March 20, 2024. During Youth Day, you will visit historical sites and meet students from across Illinois.

At the end of Youth Day, after brief interviews, two winners and one alternate will be announced! Winners will travel by charter bus on June 14-21, 2024, for an all-expense paid tour of Washington, D.C.

Create lasting memories and friendships during the week-long tour! Visit the Civil War Battlefield at Gettysburg, Smithsonian Museums, George Washington’s home, Supreme Court, Arlington National Cemetery, the Holocaust Museum, among many other sites.

Your application must be submitted no later than Friday, February 16, 2024.
